Updates for the Week of Nov 7
- I have graded the tests. The scores are on PowerSchool. If you haven't taken it (I'm looking at you play people!), I know you have a lot to make up, but don't let too much time slip before you take it...you'll forget stuff faster than you think.
- Next chapter is Thermal Physics. This will be a quick chapter as there's not a ton of stuff in it. The test will be on Thursday, November 17. If we get really bogged down, we can push it to the two days before Thanksgiving, but I'd rather not. I have other plans for that time.
Download the Thermal Physics Chapter Guide. It's got a ton of good information. - One thing we had a lot of trouble with on the last test was understanding some of the verbage that IB uses. Download the IB Command Terms list and memorize them. I gave this out and talked about it earlier this year...but we apparently blew that off. Definitions of verbs may not be a sexy thing to study, but it could make the difference between a passing and a failing grade on the IB Physics Test.
